Life Update
When your baby suddenly becomes more active, it gets harder to blog. I'm glad to finally be back. I think a life update is long overdue.
Recently we had General Conference. I was motivated by President Nelson to take time off of social media for 10 days. It felt so good to focus on my spiritual growth and overall personal growth.
I'm so happy it's fall. It is finally starting to cool down. We have been enjoying some much-needed rain. When it's not raining, we take advantage of the nice weather and do some outdoor activities. We go on walks, have fun at a park, and we recently went to a pumpkin patch.
We have lived in Texas for 3 1/2 years now! Collin continues to work for GM as a software developer while I stay at home with Autumn. I enjoy being a stay-at-home mom. It really is the best job in the world! I love watching my sweet Autumn grow everyday.
Autumn is now a crawling baby who gets into everything! I have to constantly stay on my toes because of how fast she is, not to mention the scramble to baby-proof everything. She pulls herself up to stand and has great balance. She is talking so much more and can mostly say "Mama" and "Dada." She has learned how to say "more" in sign language, and loves clapping, waving, high-fives, and putting her hands in the air. We love how she sleeps all through the night now.
I think the question that we get asked the most is, "Does Autumn walk yet?" She isn't yet, but I have learned that babies will learn to walk when they are ready. We are so proud of her accomplishments so far. I still can't believe she will be a one-year-old in a few weeks! How did she go from my tiny baby to becoming a tall, active toddler?? I'm trying to savor every moment before her birthday arrives.
About a few months ago, I got a text from my dad saying that my grandma fell and broke her hip. It got to a point where she needed surgery. The surgery went well, but the anesthesia really affected my grandma's health. She got to a point where she wouldn't eat. It was a very scary time, but miraculously, she started eating again and getting better. It was because of all the prayers and support that my grandma started improving. It was also thanks to my dad and my sister Kelsey for taking good care of her in California.
It's truly amazing that Lord hears and answers our prayers. Because of Him, we can be healed. I can't wait for more adventures coming up real soon!

Best one we could get without it being too blurry. :D
She was recently sick. I was sad she didn't feel well, but loved getting more cuddles with this cutie.

I love this shot in the pumpkin wagon. It has a country-like feel to it.
This is Halloween. :) We had a great time!
This picture is from my sister's Instagram. My grandma received some beautiful flowers while she was in the hospital. I know that they helped.
